Building the Formulation Library
What started as a handful of product ideas has evolved into a growing library of formulations that gives us a glimpse of what Men’s Biomes might eventually become.
The formulation library is becoming one of the most valuable assets in the project.
The deeper we go into product development, the more we appreciate the importance of documenting ideas, ingredients, costs, and production approaches. What began as general concepts now exists as detailed formulations spread across multiple biome collections and product categories.
For the first time, we can compare products side by side.
We can look at the Nordic soap, the Desert shampoo, the Tropical beard oil, or the Nautical formulations and begin evaluating them through the same lens. The library is helping us understand not just what products we want to create, but how those products fit into a larger ecosystem.
More importantly, the library is forcing us to think like a company instead of hobbyists.
Ideas are exciting.
Structured information is useful.
The more organized the project becomes, the easier it is to make informed decisions.
